Housing and Healthy Discussions: What's Next?

Planning your future is the first step to remain independent.

Explore a unique look into the future of aging. Through discussion and reflection this workshop will engage a broad group of people to address our own concerns and issues – whether real or perceived – as we age. Join Noreen Horowitz, Educational Program Assistant, as she shares her knowledge and personal experience on this subject. Topics include:

  • Society has changed
  • Start the conversation to become informed
  • Reviewing housing options as we age
  • How to deal with giving up the familiar
  • Deciding to stay in my house: develop an in-home support plan
  • What if moving is in your future? Consider other housing options
  • Facing the issue of long term or chronic care housing
  • Create your life plan 65+

At the end of this presentation, you will have increased your knowledge of how to look ahead and develop a life plan for 65+.
