Canada Summer Jobs Extension of Deadline

Dear local employer and nor-profit,

It is my pleasure to contact you again to inform you that the newly appointed Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, the Honourable Patty Hajdu has announced that the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) application period has been extended to February 3, 2017.

As you know, each year, the CSJ program helps employers like you create valuable summer job opportunities for full-time students aged 15 to 30, while strengthening local economies and communities across Canada.

If you have hired a student in the past, you know how beneficial it can be for your organization. You also know first-hand how important it is for students to gain much-needed skills and experience and contribute to our community.

Don’t wait, apply today! I encourage you to take advantage of this great program and apply for funding for students that you require to help you.

For more information on CSJ, including the eligibility criteria and application guide, visit the, a Service Canada Office or by calling 1-800-935-5555.
